Congratulations to our magnificent scholars who endured a 10-12 hour day in our very first Speech and Debate tournament. The Gate Program would like to thank all the students that participated in the Principios 4 Speech and Debate tournament on November 11, 2017.
PCS hosted this spectacular event where many schools participated, some were from Pasadena and Canoga Park and some schools came as far as from San Jose, CA. It was very exciting to see so many of our students compete with students ranging from 3rd to 12th grade.
There were hundreds of students and parents. Our students were ecstatic and willing to prove themselves and to those who have being in these tournaments for years. It was a privilege to have been part of this amazing opportunity.
Our students won several trophies from 1st to 6th place. Special thanks to our coach Mr. Velasquez.
