The primary goal of the health offices at Pacoima Charter and Pacoima Enrichment Academy is to ensure that students are physically well and enter the learning environment ready to learn at an optimal level. Parents are ell versed on the importance of adequate nutrition and the proper amount of sleep that students need in order receive and process information in the classroom. 

 

The health office provides the parents of our students with numerous medical resources. Among them are the following:

 

1. Dental health screening by Kids Community Clinic and the Colgate Van Program.

2. Vision and Hearing testing for all kinder, second and fifth grade students conducted by Direct Ed Services.

3. Helping parents navigate through the "Eyebuydirect.com" website where parents are able to replace/purchasing additional pairs of corrective lenses at very low cost.

4. Health insurance assistance by Valley Community Health Center.
